Kurzfassung:
Foundations for offshore wind turbines (OWT) are designed to withstand dynamic environmental loads from wind and waves, effects of OWT movements and soil-structure interaction. The design approach consists of an iterative process including aeroelastic modelling and finite element analyses of structural details. In view of the growing focus on jacket foundations, this contribution outlines an efficient jacket design framework developed by Ramboll.
